Jonathan C. Goodman

Owner

Embalmer and Funeral Director


Jonathan is co-owner of Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home. He graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science from Vincennes University School of Mortuary Science in Vincennes, Indiana. He also completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mid-Continent University. He is an active member of the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky and the National Funeral Directors Association. He is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent.


Jonathan attends Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah, KY where he helps with the Seniors Ministry.  Jonathan and Shannon combined have eight children (this includes two sets of twins) and two grandchildren. 


Shannon G. Goodman

Owner

Funeral Director


Shannon is co-owner of Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home. She graduated from Mid-Continent University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She manages the business office including insurance billing and accounting, along with meeting with families. Shannon is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent.


Shannon attends Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah, KY. She assists Jonathan with the Seniors Ministry.  Shannon enjoys spending her time with family.  Shannon also feels blessed to be able to help families during their time of loss. 


Amanda Nelson

Embalmer and Funeral Director

Amanda Nelson graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service with an Associate’s degree in Applied Mortuary Science in 2009. She is a licensed Kentucky Funeral Director & Embalmer. She has been a resident of Livingston County for seven years.


Amanda is a mom to three beautiful children, Caleb, Piper, & Stella. The family is actively involved with Relevant Church in Paducah where Amanda serves on the Greeting and Worship Teams. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family, hunting, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. Her passion is helping others in their time of need.

Justin R. Crawford

Embalmer and Funeral Director

Justin graduated from Vincennes University with an associate’s degree in Mortuary Science in 2024. He is a licensed Kentucky Embalmer & Funeral Director. He has been a resident of Lyon County for twenty-two years.


During his off time, Justin enjoys playing basketball and pickleball with friends.  He is the Lyon County Middle School head coach to the girls basketball team.   He attends Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah.  Justin has a pet golden doodle that answers to "Milo".

Mike A. Steele

Pre-Need Specialist

Mike is a native of Paducah.  He lives with his wife Debbie in Reidland and together they have 7 children, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Mike has 40 plus years locally in the retail auto industry as well as the former owner of Steele Electronics and CB Center along with his dad, Woodrow Steele.  Mike is an active member of the Paducah Seventh Day Adventist Church and also a member of the West Kentucky Gospel Music Association where he is active with several local churches as a fill-in Music Minister, Special Music, and fundraising.  Mike is also the President of the Volunteers in Police Services for the Paducah Police Department.

Jackson E. Crawford

Service Assistant

Jackson graduated from Lyon County High School in 2024.  He currently is attending West Kentucky Community & Technical College with hopes to apply to the nursing program they offer.  You can find Jackson around our funeral homes doing several different duties.  He may be greeting you at a door, doing special projects or working on the lawn. 


He enjoys playing pickleball, basketball, soccer and tennis.  He attends Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah.

Jase M. Gill

Service Assistant

Jase Gill recently graduated from McCracken County High School. Jace's interests include working on classic cars, rebuilding his 1950 Chevrolet pickup truck with his grandfather and spending time with his grandparents helping around their farms.  He is a member at Pleasant Baptist Church in Paducah.
