Tom "Papa" George

Tom “Papa” George, age 58, of Paducah died Friday, July 21, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital.  He was the son of the late Lemmie George and the late Mary Louise Whaley George.  He was a mentor for the University of Michigan new dialysis patients. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and was a member of Living Word Pentecostal Church in Paducah. 

There are no services scheduled at this time.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife: Sue Ann George of Paducah; his son: David Lee Dalton (Rebecca) of Michigan; his daughter: Amber Marie Hensley (Matt)  of Missouri; his brothers: Lemmie George, Jr. of Michigan, James Arnold (Carolyn) of Arkansas, and Ray Arnold (Joy) of Arkansas; his sisters: Rhea Rainwater (Dave) of Tennessee, and Georgie Grissom of Arkansas; his precious granddaughters: Luna Grace, Lillian Dawn, and Lyla Serenity.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Kathy Bishop and Vollie Langford.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
