Tom Beavers

Thomas Dale Beavers, age 68 of Calvert City died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Southgate Nursing and Rehab in Metropolis, Illinois.  He was born the son of the late Marshall D. Beavers and the late Sheila Gupton Beavers.  He was a former assistant plant manager of Dana Corporation in Hopkinsville, KY.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 31 in Paducah, a member of the Paducah Moose Lodge #285, a ham radio operator, and loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Charles Lachance officiating.  Burial will follow in Owens Chapel Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his sons: James Beavers (Jaime) of Calvert City, and Jason Beavers (April) of Lone Oak; his daughter: Teresa Norwood (Ben) of Metropolis, Illinois; his ten grandchildren;  one great grandchild; and his brother: Marshall L. Beavers of Paducah.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Doris Wallis Beavers.
