Terry Zane Monroe

Terry Zane Monroe, age 66 of Rives, TN died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.  He was born the son of the late Dock Calvin Monroe, and the late Dorothy Geneva Gambell Monroe.  He was a retired boiler operator at Armstrong Flooring.  He had previously worked as a police officer in Trenton, TN, Dyer, TN, Kenton, TN, and Trimble, TN.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved taking long walks with his dogs in the woods.  He loves talking with people and waving at them from his porch swing as they passed his house.  He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Union City, TN.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Private memorial services will be held.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

He is survived by his wife: Shera "Shan" Monroe of Rives, TN; his son: Joe Monroe (Angela) of Milan, TN; his daughters: Amy Monroe Wilson of Dyersburg, TN, Marcia Monroe of Trenton, TN, and Tera Lea Monroe of Salt Lake City, UT; his sister: Theresa June Monroe Sollman (Greg) of Friendship, TN; his grandchildren: T.J. Gammons, Nylah Martin, Kody Crews, Josie Wilson, Kiragen Crews, Brylee Bailey, Ariana Wilson, Alyssa Wilson, and Zada Monroe; he has one great grandchild, Baby Martin on the way; his niece: Stacey Hutcheson (Donnie) of Friendship, TN; and his step-son: Kenny Sims of Rives, TN.
