Sonia Collier

Sonia Knight Collier, age 73 of Paducah, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital.  She was born the daughter of the late Joe Knight and the late Sylvia Wilhelm Knight.  She had worked as a cosmetologist and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Monday, June 18, 2018 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

She is survived by her husband: James Collier of Paducah; her sons: Jimmy Ladell Collier, Daniel Lawayne Collier, and Michael Joe Collier (Tracy) all of Paducah; her daughters: Laquita Leigh (Monty) of Gilbertsville, and Laronda Story of Paducah; her sister: Delores Godin (Richard) of Utah; ten grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Ronnie Joe Knight, Troy Lynn Knight, and Jackie Dean Knight; and her sister: Judith Kay Knight.
