Rebecca Hyde

Rebecca Mari Cron Hyde, mother of three passed May 2, 2018 at 11:00 p.m. at her home.  Born in Paducah, Kentucky on the 19th of October, 1954.  She was born the daughter of Earl W. Cron and Ruth A. Steinhauser Cron.  She remained in Paducah to raise her family.  She was involved in her children's school and sports activities.  She volunteered many hours in the P.A.V.E. program.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., May 7, 2018 at Lone Oak United Methodist Church with Pastor Jason Jones officiating.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Cecelia Steinhauser, Gary and Anny Cron.  Parents Earl and Ruth Cron, several aunts and uncles, one cousin, and a nephew: Matthew Cartwright.

She leaves behind one brother, Michael A. Cron of Paducah.  Three children and their families.  A son, Joshua Adam Hyde (wife Nikki) and their two daughters: Emily Nicole Hyde and Katy Rae Hyde.  A son, Jacob Christopher Hyde.  A daughter, Julia Elizabeth Hyde and her son: Dylan William Hawes.  She is also survived by one aunt: Aunt Mary Ann Martin of Evansville, Indiana and several cousins.

Rebecca's whole life centered on her children and grandchildren.  She received joy from them that could not be explained and was never taken for granted.  She was always grateful to have those moments to share with them.
