Raymond " Jack " Mathis

Raymond " Jack " Mathis age 83 of Paducah passed away Wednesday November 6, 2013 at 4;19 P.M. his residence.

Mr. Mathis was a native of Grand Chain Illinois. He was retired from the I.C.G. Railroad  and served on the Hendron Fire Department for 26 years. he was a member of the Arcadia United Methodist Church. Surviving are his three daughters, Melanie Mathis, Karen Bagby and Tara Martin all of Paducah. One sister, Louise Blasdell of Grand Chain, IL. and a brother, Charles Mathis of CA. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife La Donna Mathis, and one sister. His parents were Raymond Mathis and May Elizabeth Pope.

Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2:00 P.M. till 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Family request memorials be given to the Hendron Fire Department 4535 A T Massa Drive Paducah, KY. 42003.
