Phyllis Munro, age 77 of Paducah died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born the daughter of the late Philias Drouin and the late Margaret Watson Drouin. She was retired from Sears after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Lourdes Auxiliary, and Daughters of Isabella. She loved her pets, and was also a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Paducah with Fr. Bruce McCarty officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the Mass hour at the church. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her sons: Kevin Munro of Paducah, and Doug Munro (Yania) of Driftwood, Texas; her daughter: Glenda Arant (David) of Paducah; her brothers: Geoff Douin of Swartz Creek, Michigan and Steve Drouin of Plainwell, Michigan; her sisters: Dolores McKenzie of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and Yvonne Rucker of Olympia, Washington; her two grandchildren: Josh Munro of Dallas, Texas and Eann Munro of Driftwood, Texas; her thirteen nieces and nephews, and thirty-five great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty four years: Glenn F. Munro; her sister: Paulette Porcaro; and one great nephew.
