Michael Eugene Anderson

Michael Eugene Anderson, age 54 of Brookport, Illinois died Monday, August 13, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was born the son of the late Charles Anderson and Wanda Sullivan (John) of Metropolis, Illinois.  He was a painter and worked out of the painters union in Kentucky.  He was of the pentecostal faith.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah.  Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery in Brookport, Illinois.  Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Paula Anderson of Brookport, Illinois; his son: Charlie Anderson (Rebecca) of Brookport, Illinois; his daughter: Faith Anderson of Brookport, Illinois; his brothers: Ben Edward Anderson, Charles David Anderson, Jeffrey Anderson all of Brookport, and Johnny Sullivan of Metropolis, Illinois; his sister: Tammi Anderson Fiorentini of Paducah; his grandmother: Daisy Spencer; his three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step mother: Barbara Anderson; and his daughter: Claudia Anderson.
