Melba June Fooks

Melba June Fooks age 93 of Paducah passed away Wednesday October  9, 2013 at 8:21 A.M. at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Fooks was a native of Illinois, and was a retired cashier for Pay Less Drugs. She was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple and a former member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle where she attended for over 30 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Pat Story of Gilbertsville, KY. and Harolyn Henson of Paducah. One son. Rev. ( Sonny) Edward Payne of Paducah. Six grandchildren, Tony Osbron ( Donna ), Renee Freeman ( Ronnie ), Harold Wayne Thompson ( Bridgett ), Donna Vandengriff, Nancy Payne, and Wendy Story Bladon. Twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Charles Payne, Harold Davenport, and Willie Fooks, and her parents, Charles Calvin Fain and Iola Carroll Fain.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P. M  today at the funeral home.
