Mary June Powell

Mary June ( Oreskovich ) Powell age 86 of Paducah, KY. formerly of Livingston County, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2017 at 4:48 a.m. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center of Paducah.

She was a member of the Twin Lakes Worship Center in Benton, KY. She retired from the Stacey's Restaurant. She is survived by one son, Gary McManus and wife Kim of Smithland, KY. Three grandsons, Shane McManus and wife Heather of Ballard County, KY. , Joe McManus and wife Jennifer of West Paducah, KY., and Kip Mathis and wife Blair of Benton, KY. Four great grandchildren; Jonnah McManus, Hannah McManus, Lovett Mathis, and Landry Mathis. Mary was a twin to the late Joseph Oreskovich and the sixth child to the late Peter and Nanny King Oreskovich. Besides Joseph and her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elvis Powell, and three more brothers, Peter Oreskovich Jr., William Oreskovich and Michael Oreskovich. Two sisters, Mandalina Oreskovich and Eva Oreskovich Scillion.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday March 31, 2017 at Keeling Family Funeral Home in Paducah,with the Rev. Jeremy Short officiating. A private burial will follow in the Macedonia Church Cemetery in Kuttawa, KY. Friends may visit with the family Thursday March 30, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. till funeral hour. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be given to the Twin Lakes Worship Center Play Ground Project 4166 US Hwy 641 Benton, KY 42025.
