Mary Francis Henderson

Mary Francis Henderson, age 85 of Paducah, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at Baptist Health in Paducah.  She was born the daughter of the late John Jackson, Sr. and the late Fanny Francis Ford Tapscott.  She was a retired cook having worked many years in the restaurant business.  She was an avid bowler and was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and was active in the church choir, the rest home ministry, and the church kitchen.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jimmy Franks officiating.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home.  Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her sons: Larry Henderson(Betty) of Melber and Sherman Henderson (Joan) of Paducah; her daughter: Bonnie Smith (Lyn) of Paducah; her brothers: John Jackson (Shelby) of Arizona, Marvin Tapscott of Ohio, and Shelton Tapscott of Paducah; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Texas E. Henderson; and her brother: Ozzie Tapscott.
