Margaret Sue Mitchell

Margaret “Sue” Mitchell, 88 of Paducah died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehab.  She was born the daughter of the late Connon Bagwell and the late Annie Powell Brian.  She was a Paducah Ambassador (Red Coat) and attended Park Ave. Baptist Church in Paducah.   She retired from Super X  Drugstore where she worked in customer service.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Harrell officiating.  Entombment will follow at Brook Hill Memorial Gardens in Paducah.  Visitation will be Saturday,  February 29, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughters: Nancy Mahoney (Clint) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Vickie Collins (Thomas) of West Paducah; her sister: Dorothy Bogart of Paducah; two grandchildren: Amanda Riley (Michael) and Cassandra Proper (Garrett); her four great grandchildren; and her two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thurman Mitchell.
