Lolita Bowler, age 71 of Paducah died Monday, April 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born the daughter of the late Stanley Vogt and the late Margaret Ficht Scheibe. She was a member of St. Johns Vianney in North Lake, Illinois. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Paducah Aerie 3135; and was currently serving as Madam State President. She had worked as a waitress.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home with Deacon Scott Jones and Deacon Brent Kimbler officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday, April 27, 2018. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was survived by her husband: Joe Bowler of Paducah; her sons: John Vogt (Shelia), David Vogt (Sharon) of Paducah; her daughters: Melinda Hicks (Todd) of Paducah, and Maggie Held (Jason) also of Paducah; her brother: Stan Vogt (Kris) of Florida; her sisters: Lola Marlene Nogowski (Larry, Sr.) of Florida, and Lori Jaglowski of Chicago, Illinois; her step sons: Donald King (Carol) of Paducah, and James King of Houston, Texas, Tony Bowler (Debbie) of Minnesota, and Kevin Bowler of Owensboro, Kentucky; her seventeen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father: Gilbert Scheibe; her grandson: Maaco Vogt; and her step son: Mike Bowler.
