Larry Dale Houston

Larry Dale Houston, 73, of Almo, KY, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born October 22, 1950, to the late Edgar and Marie Houston of Murray, KY.

Larry was of the Baptist faith and a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. He was a faithful employee at Houston Ag for many years.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 56 years, Deborah Grace Houston, who passed away on April 20, 2024. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Houston; and two brothers, Charles and Dwight Houston, all of Murray.

He is survived by his three daughters, Deneshia Wood, Mandy Houston, and Mary Reker; his sister, Carolyn (Wayne) Marshall; and three brothers, Randy (Vickie) Houston, Donnie (Carla) Houston, and Billy (Linda) Houston, all of Murray, KY. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Emily Wood of Montana, Adam (Roberta) Burk, Daniel Houston, and Abigail Houston, all of Murray, KY. Larry felt blessed to meet his great-grandson, Atlas Dale Burk, born on June 6, 2024.

Larry, fondly known as "Papa" to his grandchildren, never missed an opportunity to make them laugh. Papa will truly be missed and will be in our hearts forever. 

A Graveside Service will be planned at a later date. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Houston family.
