Ladona Gayle Melton

Ladona Gayle Deweese Melton, age 48, of Paducah died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Baptist Health in Paducah. She was born the daughter of Donald Deweese Sr. and Candace Taylor Deweese.  She was a dental assistant, a veterinarian assistant, a pharmacy technician, she enjoyed restoring furniture and she loved "do-it-yourself" projects.  She was of the Baptist faith and she attended Southland Baptist Temple

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home, 2410 Jackson St, Paducah, KY, with Pastor Jimmy Franks officiating.  Burial will follow in Birdsville Cemetery in Livingston County.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, August 2, 2019 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home.  Keeling & Goodman is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by her son Benjamin Hunter Turner (Katelix) of Paducah; her maternal grandmother: Eunice Taylor of Paducah; her brother: Donald Deweese, Jr of Wickliffe; her sister: Jennie Mowry (Mike) of Portland, TN; grandchildren: Ashlynn Turner & Abigail Turner  and baby on the way: Lillian Mae Turner and her furry friend: Hartley.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Joseph Wesley Taylor, Sr. and her paternal grandparents Nobel E Deweese and Alda Irene Deweese.
