Joyce Kay Barefield

Joyce Kay Barefield age 79 of Paducah passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 5:53 p.m. at the Lourdes Hospital.

Mrs. Barefield was retired from the Paducah Board of Education. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her two sons, Alan Barefield (Amy) of Starkville, MS. and Terry Barefield ( Victoria ) of Rockwood, TN. Five grandchildren, Chance Barefield Of Rockwood, TN., Ashley Reed of Paducah, Colby Barefield of Metropolis, IL., William Barefield and Allyson Barefield both of Starkville, MS. Three great grandchildren, Brianna Barefield, Noah Reed and Christopher Reed. One nephew and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Barefield, one son, Joey Barefield, her parents, Hubert Baggett and Juanita Ruley Baggett, one brother and one sister.

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday February 26, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Sue Engle and Rev. Kenny Locke officiating. Burial will be Private. Family will receive friends from 12 Noon till funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be given to Trinity United Methodist Church BLAST Program 6125 Blandville Rd. Paducah, KY. 42001 or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
