James Jim Franklin South Jr

James ( Jim ) Franklin South Jr. age 60 of Paducah went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday November 8, 2015 at 2:27 P.M. from Baptist Health of Paducah. 

Jim was a native of Dupo, IL. and was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple, where he served as an usher. He was also a pass member of the South Paducah Kwanias Club. Jim worked for the Credit Bureau Systems. Surviving is his wife of 23 years Wanda Traughber South of Paducah. One daughter, Meghan Nicole Kraft of Murray, KY. Two sons, James ( Jimmy ) Daniel Birdsong of Mayfield, KY and Andrew Lee Birdsong of Paris TN. Three sisters, Susan Van Alsburg and Jeannine Hickman both of Ohio and Thelma South of IL. Two brothers, Bob Hardy of IL. and Vincent South of MO.  Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin South Sr. and Geneva Maxine Green South, two brothers, David Bliss and Richard South.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday November 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Franks and Rev. Topper Council officiating. Entombment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
