James Edward Kelley age 88 of Kevil, passed away Tuesday July 30, 2013 at 4:30 P.M. at his residence.
Mr. Kelley was a native of Paducah and was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during WWII and retired from Union Carbide. Surviving are two sons, James David Kelley and wife Debbie of Kuttawa, KY. and Stephen Edward Kelley of Calvert City Ky. One sister, Mary Englert of Kevil and a brother, Robert Kelley of Kevil, Ky. Three grandchildren, Nicole Cressler and husband Quincy, Terri Jo Kelley, and Jason Kelley. Four great grandchildren, Dalton Ashley, Brayden Cressler, Trace Cressler and Simiya Cressler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Francis Kelley, one sister and his parents, Ed Kelley and Jewell Moore Kelley.
Funeral Service will be held Friday August 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball Knob Cemetery in Kevil. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. Friday till funeral hour at the funeral home.
