James Jim A Johnson

James ( Jim ) A. Johnson age 94 of Paducah passed away Saturday June 6, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Lourdes Hospital.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Paducah. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1942 till 1945. He was a mechanic for several years. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen McReynolds Johnson. Two daughters, Debbi Johnson of Paducah and Linda Keene (Jim) of Tucson AZ. One son, Gerry Reed ( Bonnie ) of Bowling Green, Ky. Four grandchildren, Todd Keene ( Linett ) of Maryland, Tarri Woodley of Tucson, AZ., Michael Reed ( Michelle ) of Scottsville, KY, and Maggi Johnson of Paducah. Five great grandchildren, Paul Keene, David Keene, Sophie Woodley, Duel Reed and Kara Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Johnson and Mary Lether Seaford Johnson,  two brothers, Homer Johnson and Thurman Johnson and one sister, Iva Lee Johnson Gamblin.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Strong officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
