James Fennel age 87 of Paducah passed away Wednesday November 12, 2014 at 11:30 p.m. at his residence.
Mr. Fennel was a native of Calloway County, KY. He was the owner and operator of Fennel Speedway and he was of the Protestant faith. He served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving is his wife, Wanda Lee Taylor Fennel. Two sons, James Earl Fennel and Ricky Wayne Fennel both of Paducah. Four grandchildren, Kristy Poindexter (JR), Bill Fennel, Brad Fennel, Jamie Tubbs (Travis). Twelve great grandchildren, Zachary Fennel, Ferrin Gentry, Taylar Fennel, Kealey Henson, Jaylee Hayden, Brady Poindexter, Zachary Poindexter, Taylor Poindexter, Jordan Tubbs, Kelsie Blakney, Kolby Blakney Nathan Blakney. Two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Fennel and Janie Collins Fennel and one brother, Charles Fennel.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. today, Friday November 14, 2014 at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charles Baker officiating. There will be no public visitation.
