James W. Crittendon Jr

James W. Crittendon Jr. age 71 of Paducah passed away Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 1;30 a.m. at his residence.

Mr. Crittendon was a native of Paducah. He was a member of the Maxon  Christian Church, and worked for Paducah Water Works, and served in the U.S. Army. He loved playing pool, listening to songs by Elvis and riding his Harley. Surviving is his wife of 45 years Joan Crittendon. Three daughters, Sharolette Pierce(Jeff ) of Ledbetter, Dana Crittendon of Paducah and Leann Marquess ( Dylan ) of Tampa FL. Five sons, James W. Crittendon III of Paducah, Jerry Crittendon ( Rebecca ) of Paducah, Martin Crittendon of Chattanooga, TN., Tre' Crittendon of Paducah and Grant Crittendon of Metropolis, IL. One brother Charles Crittendon and one sister, Pat Jones. Thirteen grandchildren, Donnie Blake, Brock Blake, Mallory Blake, James W. Crittendon IV, Jonah Crittendon, Serenity Crittendon ,Jake Crittendon, Daisy Crittendon, Summer Crittendon, Calley Kimberlin, Damien  Crittendon, Hannah Lambert, and Maiah Lambert. One great granddaughter, Zoey McBride. He was preceded in death by his son, Buster Crittendon and his parents J.W. Crittendon and Betty Thompson Crittendon. 

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Weaver officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. till funeral hour.
