Helen Marie Leigh

Helen Marie Leigh, 91, of Boaz, KY died Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was of the Baptist faith and loved to sing.

Helen was born of the late Talleous and Carrie Berkley.  

She is survived by her son, Richard Leigh (Linda) of Boaz, Ky; one daughter, Carla Gowan; one sister, Patsy Griffith (Kenneth); one grandson, Ricky Leigh of Paducah; and three great-grandchildren, Ricky Wren Jr., Gabriel Leigh, and Jackson Perdue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Leigh; two sons, Carlyn Leigh and Tal Leigh; one daughter, Helen Kim Leigh; and five brothers, Bill Berkley, T. A. Berkley, Bobby Berkley, Jack Berkley, and Jimmy Berkley.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021, 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, KY.
