Frank Ray Widdows, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Parkview Nursing & Rehab in Paducah. Frank was born on May 15, 1944, in West Virginia, to the late Frank Raymond and Opal Love Widdows. He married the love of his life, Kay, on April 10, 1964, and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage this year.
Throughout his life, Frank dedicated himself to serving others through his pastoral work. He pastored a church in Joplin, Missouri, and provided assistance at various other churches. His commitment to his faith and community was a hallmark of his character. He was a faithful member of Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah. Frank had a passion for fishing, a pastime that brought him joy and relaxation.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Widdows of Paducah; his son, Terry Dewayne Widdows (Cassie Jo) of Tyler, Texas; his daughter, Connie Lynn Mouser (Michael) of Symsonia; four sisters, Mary Motes of Calvert City, Linda Warner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nelda Mouser (Rev. Bobby) of Sikeston, Missouri, and Wanda Hunt (Randy Allen) of Paducah; and four grandchildren, Jarod Widdows (Katherine), Justus Widdows, Josiah Mouser (Mavanie), and Cory Mouser.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by one sister, Agnes Schmidt; his nephew, Shannon Mouser; and his brothers-in-law, Jody, Dave, Eddie, and Doug.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Gospel Assembly Church, situated at 2100 Ohio St, Paducah, Kentucky, with Bro. Encil Edmonds and Bro. Mike Hunt officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO.
