Emma Jean Guill

April 17, 1940 — April 14, 2020

Emma Jean Park Guill, 79 of Paducah passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, April 14, 2020 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky. Her parents were Frank McCoy Park and Della Mae Vinson Park. She was a homemaker and an active member of Southland Baptist Temple, volunteering with the Gift ministry, children’s church and many other area ministries.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles Lindel Guill, one son, Terry Guill and wife Jill of Paducah, five grandchildren, Ryan Guill and wife Lindsey of Collierville, TN, Ashley Guill of Calvert City, KY, Samuel Guill, Reese Guill and Daisy Guill, all of Paducah and two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Olivia Guill of Collierville, TN. She is also survived by three brothers, Frank Park and wife Mary Ann of Melbourne, FL, James Park and wife Jane of Lee’s Summit, MO, Charles Park of Rantoul, IL, one sister, Mary Burchett, of Paducah and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard Park, of Paducah and two sisters, Shirley Park Cates of Smyrna, TN, and Doris Park Hoskins of Paducah, one nephew, Ken Park, of Lee’s Summit, MO and two nieces, Karen Park Williamson of Kansas City, MO and Anne Cates Cheek of Murfreesboro, TN.

Because of the current pandemic, public viewings and public funerals are not allowed.  A “drive-through” visitation will be held 11:00 am until 12:00 noon Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Southland Baptist Temple.  Funeral Home staff will be present to direct you in the parking lot.  You will be permitted to wave at the family through large windows, or you may wish to make a sign to hold up while you pass with your thoughts and well wishes expressed to the family.  There will also be a box that you may drop condolence cards in as you drive through.

In compliance with health and public safety directives, a private graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Livingston County, KY.
