Deronda Crane - Loving Caregiver who Touched Hearts and Spread Joy

Paducah, KY - Deronda Crane, a beloved individual with a heart full of love and kindness, passed away at her home on November 5, 2023. Born on June 23, 1955, in Paducah, Deronda spent her life caring for others around her and surrounding herself with loved ones.

Deronda had numerous interests that brought immense joy into her life. She was an avid traveler who loved exploring new places. Cruises became one of her favorite ways to see the world, as they allowed her to experience different cultures firsthand while indulging in the serenity of the open sea. She enjoyed trips and traveling with her riding buddy, Dot, which usually ended at the casino. She spent each Friday night with her family and friends listening to her stand-in granddaughter Rayleigh sing karaoke. She enjoyed concerts and Kid Rock and George Strait were two of her favorite artists whose music would always bring a smile to her face.

Amongst all these endeavors, one thing that remained constant was Deronda's unwavering love for her family. Known for adoring those closest to her heart, Deronda created countless beautiful memories with them. From her nails, to her outfit, to her towels in the kitchen and case on her phone, her favorite color, turquoise, was often incorporated into these cherished moments whenever possible.

Deronda leaves behind a legacy embraced by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with this exceptional human being. She is survived by her beloved furbaby, Nikki, Aunt Dot Hill (James) of Marshall County and Aunt Marilyn Sams of Paducah. She has many, many cousins as well.  She is preceded in death by her father Bobby (Bidgey) Crane, mother Patsy Crane and her brother Bobby Neal Crane.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Deronda's life during the following services:
- Visitation: Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home, situated at 2410 Jackson Street in Paducah.
- Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home.
- Burial: Immediately following Funeral Service at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Paducah.

Deronda Crane will forever be remembered for her selflessness and kindheartedness. Her vivacious spirit will continue to inspire others to spread love and compassion in the world. While she may no longer be physically present, her influence lives on in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
