David Robert Jeffords

David R. Jeffords, a beloved member of the Paducah community, passed away on October 26, 2024 at Baptist Health Paducah. He was born on October 26, 1951, in Paducah, KY. 

David was a retired mail handler for the US Postal Service, where he worked for 31 years. He attended Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah, and was an avid stamp collector.

David is survived by his mother, Evelyn Sue Jeffords of Paducah; his sister-in-law, Barbara (Bickford) Jeffords of Taylor, SC; and three nephews, Brian Jeffords of Ankeny, IA, LTC Mark Jeffords, MD of Loveland, CO; and Daniel Jeffords of Greenville, SC. Each of them carries forward his memory, honoring the love and guidance he provided throughout his life.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home, located at 2410 Jackson Street, Paducah, Kentucky. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM with LTC Mark Jeffords officiating. David will be laid to rest Monday, November 4, 2024, at Blendon Cemetery in Westerville, OH.

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Jeffords, and one brother, John Lee Jeffords.
