Betty Jean Tyson

Betty Jean Tyson age 74 of Lugoff South Carolina passed away Monday November 28, 2011 at 6:39 A.M. at the Lourdes Hospital while visiting her family in Paducah.

Mrs. Tyson was a native of Vidalia, GA. and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are two sons, Thomas E. Moody Jr. of Louisville, Ky. and Michael J. Stanfield of Burna, Ky.. Three daughters, Gerry L. Hopper, Theresa E. Wray both of Paducah, Ky. and Michele Mann of New York. Two brothers Bill South of Paducah and Dwight South of Jackson, Ms. One sister, Linda Neville of Savannah, Ga. Eleven Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Tyson, one brother and two sisters. Her parents were William Melton South and Lera L. Cribbs South.

There will be no services, her wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her husband in South Carolina at the Green Haven Cemetery.
