Bettie Lou Graves, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health in Paducah, KY. Bettie was born on August 27, 1942, in Paducah, and lived a life rich in love and family connections until her passing, at the age of 81. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Southland Baptist Temple.

Bettie enjoyed a fulfilling career as a server at Olive Garden, where her dedication and warmth towards patrons shone brightly. However, her true passion resided in the moments spent with her family. Bettie was known for her nurturing spirit and commitment to being a good mother, always cherishing the time shared with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Kelly Graves of Paducah and Kevin Graves (Jerilyn) of Kevil; and her cherished sisters, Patsy Herzog of Paducah, Kay French (Ronnie) of West Paducah, and Debbie Kelley of Florida. Bettie also leaves behind three treasured grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.

Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, Kelzia and Essie McKendree; as well as her brothers, Bobby McKendree, Billy McKendree, and Tommy McKendree. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, a testament to the love and warmth she shared throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
