Bettie Jean Roach Gilbert

Bettie Jean Roach Gilbert age 79 of Paducah went home to be with her Lord and Savior, when he called her from her earthly home, Friday March 13, 2015 at 7:10 a.m. from the Superior Care Nursing and Rehab.

Mrs. Gilbert was a native of Symsonia KY. and was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church . Surviving is her daughter, Donna Baker and son-in-law Richard Baker of Paducah. Step grandson, Kevin Baker and family of Lone Oak. Step granddaughter, Kim Baker and children of Paducah. Several nieces and nephews. Her dog Susie Q. Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ed Gilbert, one nephew, Clayton Harper and two nieces Judith Lawrence and Kathern Harper. Her parents were Otis Roach and Nettie Thompson Roach.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 15, 2015 at the Gospel Assembly Church with the Rev. Encil Edmonds and Rev. Mike Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Concrete Cemetery in Symsonia, Ky. Friends may visit with the family 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. today Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Keeling Family Funeral Home, and Sunday from 1:00 p.m.. till funeral hour at the church.
