Bessie Lynn Mathis

Bessie Lynn Mathis, 83, of Calvert City died Friday, April 2, 2021 at Providence Point Nursing Home in Paducah. Bessie was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

She is survived by one son, Terry Mathis of Calvert City; two daughters, Debra Garrett of Paducah, and Pennie Mathis of Calvert City; eight grandchildren, Kayden Mathis, Michael Culligan Jr., Michele Culligan, Teresa Johnson, Tanna England, Terry David Mathis, Misty Jones, and Keelie Mathis; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Millie Rednour; her husband, Onnie R. Mathis; one daughter, Sharon Mathis; two brothers, Russell Rednour and Thomas Rednour; and one sister, Mary Powell.
