Alice Elaine McCuiston, beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away on November 9, 2023, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Born on July 14, 1953, in Holly Hills, Florida, Alice's life was marked by her unwavering passion for creativity and her selfless dedication to others.
Alice earned her associates degree early on and embarked on a fulfilling career as a phlebotomist, where she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit and skilled hands. Patients were drawn to her caring presence and found solace in her warm smile during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Throughout her journey as a phlebotomist and beyond, Alice remained committed to nurturing her artistic soul. She had an incredible talent for creating beautiful jewelry pieces that were truly one-of-a-kind. Her creativity extended beyond jewelry-making into the realms of blown glass and stepping stone design. The world has truly lost a remarkable artist whose creations will continue to inspire others for generations to come.
Left to cherish Alice's memory are her beloved husband Daniel McCuiston, who supported her artistic pursuits with unwavering encouragement and unconditional love. Her brother, Daniel Findley (Serena) of Florida, her sisters: Gale Kyriazis of Paducah, and Brenda Sparrow of Florida.
Alice was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lawrence Findley and Shirley Held.
Alice Elaine McCuiston lived a life that was uniquely beautiful. Her creative spirit touched the lives of countless individuals she encountered as a phlebotomist, while also leaving an everlasting impact through her artistic creations. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, empathy, and ability to find beauty in the world around us.
